*****All Dogs Go to Heaven*****
Can you imagine a heaven without dogs?

There is a very special place where beloved dogs go when they die. It is only a temporary place. But, there are trees and lakes and grass and everything dogs love. Here they play and eat and sleep in perfect health. There are no aches, no pains, no worries of any kind. Their only joy missing is you, their loving companion.

Their health is restored completely, and all injuries are healed. They play with other dogs, and only occasionally feel lonely without you. They miss you, but with a special wisdom that only dogs seem to have. They trust that this periodic loneliness will, one day, disappear. That day will arrive, when, in the midst of their play, they will sense that something has changed. Their senses will sharpen to the height of excitement and exuberance. They will sniff the air and recognize a familiar scent. They will look in the distance and recognize a familiar sight. They will bark in elation and, with eyes shining and tail wagging wildly, will tear off at full speed.

Your arrival has, at last. occurred. Now, there is nothing to keep the two of you apart every again. As you run toward each other, tears roll down your cheeks. Unlike when you were last parted, however, these are tears of joy. Your dog leaps into your arms and you cling to each other in jubilant reunion. Your hugs and kisses are returned with licks and joyous yelps. Your hands once more caress the familiar fur, the head and neck and body you knew so well. And you look into each other's eyes and know that now everything is put aright. And something will then call you on to another field of play, where all the love you shared will come to full fruition. With your dog, you leave that special waiting area and pass into the main part of heaven to begin a new existence -- together.

If you believe that dogs love us as much as we love them, then the logic is clear and cannot be denied. If you believe there is a heaven for people, then they must be there, waiting for when we cross over. Heaven is love and dogs always share that with us.
